PRIMAVERA SOUND FESTIVAL

It is an advertising campaign carried out for the twenty edition of Primavera Sound in Barcelona. The project is a group work of the university. The challenge: not to lose the style of the festival, and reach the millennials.

The three main graphic elements of this composition are: the ax and the cry characteristic of the most famous scene of The Shining, the latter hides behind the third element, the flowers, a synecdoche that the PS, and spring, has arrived.

The campaign poster

From the tagline, a narrative has been constructed with three clips of approximately 20 seconds each. The content of the clips, like the strategy, is intended for a digital format. In addition to

use the tagline of the Game of Thrones series (Spring is coming), the series The Big Bang Theory and the film of The Shining, by Stanley Kubrick are used. In this way and in this order, it is intended to represent the waiting of Primavera Sound -and spring- and, finally, its disruptive arrival.
